You?ll be an ambassador for both the sport and our store, promoting a friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable environment. *Description of the Role* Our ideal team member is organized, adaptable, and thrives in a customer-focused environment. You?ll balance retail responsibilities, hands-on skate services, and product knowledge while maintaining high service standards. *Key Responsibilities* * Perform *skate sharpening and profiling* with attention to detail * Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner * Provide product recommendations and accurate information * Accurately process transactions and handle cash * Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented sales floor * Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries * Learn about new products and keep up with hockey industry trends * Support ice surface operations when required *Required Education and Skills* * High school education preferred * *Hockey knowledge is essential* (minimum 2 years) * Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented *Experience Level* Entry to Intermediate *Compensation* At Hockey Lion, we value the hard work and dedication of our team members.
