The Business Development Representative is responsible for purchasing scrap metal from industrial accounts, specifically manufacturers, distributors, and similar businesses. This role focuses on identifying new prospective accounts, building strong supplier relationships, and developing scrap management programs that create long-term value for both the customer and Triple M Metal. Responsibilities Search for new accounts to prospect, in addition to using the list provided Develop relationships with prospective suppliers Create and implement scrap management programs Generate new business through cold calling, cold emailing, and/or cold knocking Enter activities and interactions into CRM (Salesforce) Work with internal teams to develop pricing and proposals to deliver to prospective accounts Taking part in industry-based Networking Events Additional duties as requested Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of previous sales experience considered a strong asset Strong relationship management skills Effective time and workload management Advanced Excel skills considered an asset; foundational experience required Ability to travel for work — on the road 2 to 3 days weekly Previous CRM experience required; experience with Salesforce considered a strong asset Excellent communication skills Positive attitude Strong organizational skills Team player Strong problem-solving ability Ability to navigate ambiguity by identifying the situation at hand and creating a clear action plan What We Offer Company Events Dental Care Extended Health Care Life Insurance On-Site Parking Paid Time Off RRSP Match Tuition Reimbursement Vision Care Wellness Program Compensation $80,000 - $85,000 Equal Opportunity Employer Triple M Metal LP is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome diversity in the workplace.
