Job summary
WHY DO WE NEED YOU? About The Role The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for driving sales growth with new and existing customers across the Atlantic Canada ( New bruswick and Nova Scotia). The role works primarily with concrete producers, as well as contractors and specifiers, to grow the Chryso and Interstar portfolio of Saint‑Gobain Construction Chemicals, comprising over 20 products focused on concrete applications. The TSR plans and coordinates all territory sales activities, including on‑site and laboratory technical support, to support customer operations and sales objectives. In addition, responsibilities include coordinating sales activities and managing minor dispenser issues and calibrations to ensure reliable product performance and customer satisfaction. In collaboration with regional colleagues, the TSR participates in cross‑functional customer planning to identify and maximize sales opportunities across the full Chryso and Interstar product portfolio What You'll Do Lead the development and implementation of the account plans and growth actions Define sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across utilizing a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) Provide solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets Monitor competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken Build long-term relationships with customers ensuring that service needs are fulfilled Network through active participation in industry association events and committee assignments Actively work with other departments including manufacturing and logistics to ensure customer service needs are met Identifies bottlenecks in service delivery and works within the Company to resolve issues Coordinates sales activities with team members in business development and application specialists Conducts and participates in sales promotions, training, and educational meeting with concrete producers, contractors, builders and builder sales representative, applicators, distributors and other trade factors. Monitor the quality of our products to ensure customers are satisfied and issues are resolved internally IS THIS JOB FOR YOU? What You Bring 3+ years successful track record of technical sales experience or operational role in construction and concrete High scool diploma, CET , Trades certifications, or five (5) years of equivalent training and related experience in the building, construction industry. Territory management experience with a focus on developing long-term relationships Experience successfully meeting or exceeding sales target by being results driven Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills Technical aptitude for construction products and their application with significant experience in concrete production or construction Communicating effectively-including presentation skills Ability to understand customers’ business needs and propose appropriate solutions by thinking systematically Time management with balance of prospecting, selling, and account management. Collecting and analyzing data concerning customer behavior to understand changing needs in the market.
