CASCADES TISSUE GROUP

The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.

Your challenge!

Reporting to the Vice-President of Sales, you will have the following main functions:

  • Lead all day-to-day aspects of an individual bid
  • Responsible for submitting a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget
  • Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary)
  • Coordinate incoming bid requests and proposal responses
  • Manage the customer relationship and work to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Become a first point of contact for the client, and liaises with estimators who produce the price element of the bid
  • Organize and track all requests and responses using company databases
  • Implementation of bid procedures, governance and process.
  • Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues

Help develop the sales growth strategy for his business unit and ensure its implementation

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Administration

Desired experience

  • Strong experience of at least 5 years in a similar role

  • Good knowledge of Windows environment
