The challenges we offer

Reporting to the General Manager, the Quebec Sales Director is responsible for the professional management of the sales department by directing and coordinating activities involving the sale and rental of new and used equipment. Without being limited to this position, his/her main tasks will be to:

  • Support and mentor a professional sales team (approximately 15) to lead equipment sales and rentals;
  • Supervise and monitor the daily performance of the representatives in each territory;
  • Track prospects in the company's CRM system;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturer personnel by participating in meetings to guide the strategies of the sales team;
  • Participate in the preparation of equipment pricing, rental rates, discount rates, programs and margins;
  • Prepare budgets and present expenses for approval by the General Manager;
  • Implement training programs for assistants and sales representatives;
  • Participate in the analysis of sales statistics to determine inventory needs, sales potential and monitor preferences regarding equipment needs of potential customers;
  • Participate and assist in the organization of promotional and marketing events;
  • Distribute and analyze market share data with territory representatives on a monthly basis;
  • Collaborate closely with the after-sales service departments in their activities with customers.
Compétences recherchées

You have the following profile:

  • College diploma (DEC) or training related to the position;
  • 5 years of experience in the sales field and in a management position;
  • Experience in the heavy machinery or vehicle sector;
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written in French and English.
