The Junior Sales Consultant is a positive, hardworking individual with a passion for sales and relationship building. The incumbent is a team player who has entry-level sales experience, loves challenges and a fast-paced work environment and is looking to grow and build a long-term career in sales.  

This position reports to the Sales Manager, North America.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to top accounts and serve as a back-up for Sales Consultants;
  • Participate in bridal events and trunk shows;
  • Maintain general action plans for our top clients to ensure we are on track with our growth objectives;
  • Provide assistance to the North American Sales Team with day-to-day tasks;
  • Assist with invitations and appointment bookings for trade shows;
  • Help Sales Representatives with in-store merchandising initiatives;
  • Prepare and make sales and training presentations;
  • Help grow sales by educating customers on product features and benefits;
  • Participate in training initiatives and assist with filmed sales training modules for our B2B website;
  • Assist in the strengthening the customer service relationship which will create brand awareness;
  • Coordinate and implement new CrownRing branding materials such as new boxes/gift bags/pens/lanyards, etc.;
  • All other related tasks, as required.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in a sales position and a strong customer service background;
  • Passion for sharing knowledge and educating others;
  • Strong mathematical skills and business acumen;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
  • Ability to make compelling presentations;
  • Strong awareness of branding and marketing;
  • Ability to travel outside of Canada (30% to 40% of the year);
  • Experience in the jewellery and/or luxury products industry is a definite asset;
  • Merchandising experience would be considered an asset;
  • Valid Canadian passport and driver's licence;
  • Strong computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Language requirements: English spoken and written is essential.
