The UgoWork team is looking for a Business Development Representative to propel the commercialization of its forklift power solution. Together with the sales and marketing team, you will develop new business relationships and grow UgoWork's share in a rapidly changing market.
We are looking for a creative and curious individual, passionate with interpersonal relations and sales, interested in working within a disproportionately ambitious and growing team.
Your day to day
Build and grow the sales pipeline by identifying and reaching out to decision makers among our target customers. They can be operations managers, plant directors or maintenance managers. They represent large corporations from the logistics, food and manufacturing markets.
In collaboration with the marketing team, continuously test, improve and refine our strategies and messages
Lead discovery calls in order to fully understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions
Visit potential customers and initiate lasting relationships. Listen to their needs in order to guide them, but also to ensure that there is a "fit" with the UgoWork solution
Establish and maintain a trustworthy partnership with customers and partners by remaining very active in your business networking activities
Contribute actively to the business development strategy.
What it takes
3+ years of experience in sales or marketing
An ability to negotiate and convince, natural curiosity and a sense for initiative
A positive, dynamic and professional approach
Being comfortable with picking up the phone, talking to strangers and quickly building trustworthy relationships
Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
An ease with IT tools, the web, social media. You have to kind of be a geek!
A valid driver's license
Knowledge in the fields of forklifts, logistics or manufacturing is an asset.
