Business Development Manager

Delpharm is a leading pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturing and Development Organization (CDMO).

With over 35 years serving the Industry and a major Industrial network of 19 plants, it offers contract development and manufacturing of medicinal products for humans and veterinary use, medical devices and food supplements in various dosage forms: solid dosage forms, non-sterile and sterile liquids, semi solids.

Delpharm is currently transforming its commercial organization to increase the presence in the sterile market and is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager, Sterile Europe who has track record of achieving and succeeding sales targets in this area.

The BDM will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing new development and commercial business for the sterile activity and will report to the Deputy Sales Director within the Sales organization.

Main responsibilities:

• Establish strong relationship with customers and present Delpharm sterile capabilities to customers/prospects in order to generate opportunities
• Attend specific Fairs to extend Sterile network
• Help the organization to understand the Sterile market and customer/prospects needs
• Support and prepare RFi's and RFQ's submissions jointly with cross functional teams in order to deliver results
• Work with legal to execute appropriate and negotiate complex supply agreements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3-5 years Business Development experience in a CRO/CDMO industry focused on sterile, ideally in international environment
• Higher education, complementary scientific education would be a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Track record in growing sales in a competitive environment
