The Schulich Executive Centre is looking to hire Senior Account Executives.

As Senior Account Executive, you will sell training solutions to new or repeat clients in an assigned territory. If you are an experienced, entrepreneurial Account Executive that thrives in a flexible work environment, we want to hear from you.

We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.

This is a revenue generation role that is critical to the ongoing success of the Schulich Executive Education Centre. To be a successful SEEC Account Executive, you must possess a high degree of proficiency in the following areas:

  • Prospecting
  • Networking
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with our clients
  • Solutions and consultative selling

While SEEC MARCOM efforts generate some leads for our AEs, SEEC knows that to be a successful AE at SEEC the AE must self-initiate and develop own lead sources, including the establishment of strong customer-service based professional relationships with organizational authorizing managers, key professional association contacts, as well as engage with their own professional network.

SEEC has presence in the GTA but also nationally represented through 8 University Partnerships and multiple strategic alliances with various professional associations.

Your Sales / Professional Work Experience profile should include:

  • Minimum Undergraduate Degree (Additional sales experience beyond the minimum of 10 years will be considered as an equivalency)
  • Minimum 10 years of professional sales experience (preferably in the education / training industry)
  • Ability to demonstrate best in field sales knowledge, practices and the ability to work with Academic Program Directors, Instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand course content and provide foundational training needs analysis by identifying client requirements and recommending client solutions in the Executive Education field
  • Prior experience in the education and training field will be considered a competitive advantage
  • Meticulous attention to detail – for lead follow-up, lead conversion, customer service / response
  • Combine a professional, friendly personality with a sales-driven personality that drives to exceed annual sales targets

 

  • Proficiency in MS Office - Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • Prior Sales Force experience would be a considered a competitive advantage but not a pre-requisite to be considered for this role
