We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Manager, Product Management. Reporting into the VP, Strategy and Marketing, the successful incumbent will engage with peers, internal teams and external suppliers/vendors from product inception through to market readiness and launch. As a member of the Strategy & Marketing Department, you will:

Qualifications

  • Evangelize the product road-map and strategic priorities to Senior Executives and Sales

  • Drive the complete product launch process through collaboration with external partners and internal stakeholders; including vendor readiness and ongoing demand planning

  • Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans

  • Track the deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies and provide escalation to management

  • Work with the pricing team to define pricing and profitability acceptance levels

  • Ensure the product launch process delivers within the defined costs, timelines and product attributes

  • Produce and maintain accurate data and records as related to the products and launch process documentation

  • Define and analyze key metrics that will serve as key information resources for measuring product success

  • Define supplier/ vendor requirements required to support in-country product launch success

  • Work with Global Sourcing to facilitate in-country vendor contractual arrangements

  • Prepare and drive supplier/vendor enablement with support from Service Delivery and Operations

  • Maintain ongoing visibility of supplier/vendor performance; address challenges and improve overall vendor performance and velocity

  • Drive the in-country product demand planning process, ensuring availability and inventory to meet customer forecasted needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years product management experience with a focus on product life cycle management, product planning, and product line performance

  • Successful track record of bringing new products to market

  • Experience in both Hardware and Software products

  • Bachelor's degree/PMP certification

  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking

  • Understanding and experience with Agile product development practices highly desirable

  • Highly proficient with MS Project and MS Excel

  • Collaborative, relationship builder

  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills with emphasis on technology

  • Solid knowledge of marketing and product/project management tools

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Strong accountability and project management for tasks without close supervision
