Direct Sales Manager

The Direct Sales Manager is responsible for sales in the assigned regional territory in Ontario. The individual in this position is responsible for overall sales in the designated region including prospecting, lead generation, customer qualification and closing sales.
Direct Sales Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the machine and TruServices sales in the designated region in Ontario
- Identify potential customers Prospect, qualify and present Machine Tool and TruServices products to potential customers
- Create, monitor and compile sales pipeline
- Produce and maintain market information relevant to territory
- Track sales activities and performance, providing regular updates to management as required
- Attending trade shows and other industry related events
- Prepare and negotiate proposals to finalize sales
- Building positive relationship with customers and colleagues
- Deliver excellent customer service and customer satisfaction including post-sale support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Staying up to date on latest technologies and industry trends
Experience
Two years experience in Sales, Marketing or related business would be useful. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel a must. Being proficient in Sales techniques and related computer systems (MS Office, SAP)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales/related area or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience will be considered
