As a Home Consultant with Timber Block, you will have an opportunity to develop your skills with the support of an innovative team, while you help customers make the biggest decision of their lives. Your proven ability to speak and educate prospects, secure contracts and follow up with customers in an excellent manner is a must.

The Home Consultant position is an opportunity for a self-driven, motivated, goal oriented and organized individual that can demonstrate their selling and customer service skills within a fast-paced sales environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the world of construction and/or experience selling new homes. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday hours, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the sales team performance to meet and exceed sales goals;
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Develop relationships with various industry professionals to maximize opportunities for referrals;
  • Work closely with our construction and design team to progress customers through our design to delivery process;
  • Ensure that every Timber Block customer has the best customer experience.

Key Duties

  • Greet prospective clients and present to them the various designs and Timber Block products;
  • Follow up with prospects (phone and email);
  • Close sales opportunities;
  • Manage and maintain prospects and buyers in our CRM (Hubspot);
  • Provide product knowledge of Timber Block models, pricing, floor plans, selections, and options;
  • Participate in trade shows in the GTA area, as needed (currently 3 per year);
  • Assist in ensuring that the show homes are clean and organized.

Key Attributes

  • The ability to work within a face-paced environment;
  • The ability to maintain a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented environment;
  • Strong English is required. French would be considered an asset but not required;
  • Experience with CRM softwares.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in new home sales and/or relevant experience is preferred;
  • Organized and detail-oriented;
  • Strong, professional communicating and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel;
  • Suitable business casual attire at all times;
  • Post-secondary education required and/or relevant work experience.
