Qualifications and skills:

  • College diploma in business.
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in senior sales management position.
  • High level of leadership acumen.
  • Ability to think strategically and influence decisions at a high level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to travel locally within assigned market – Nanaimo, BC


Key responsibilities:

  • Develop corporate business in Nanaimo area.
  • Provide leadership and direction of sales team to generate new business and maintain existing accounts in Nanaimo area.
  • Take ownership in driving the new sales model and aligning sales force to meet new growth and service model.
  • Establish performance goals and make strategies to achieve the goals within budget.
  • Organize, direct and evaluate the regional sales activities and sales operation in Nanaimo area.
  • Establish policies and procedures in relation to sales.
  • Determine strategic planning related to new product lines.
  • Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts.
  • Recruit, organize, train and manage sales staffs.
  • Work with the marketing team to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.

  • Work extra hours when necessary.
