Position: Account Coordinator, Partnership Marketing (Esports)

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing


Committed to service excellence, the Account Coordinator is responsible for meeting and exceeding the ongoing commitments and contractual details that occur from the commencement of the partner relationship to the expiry of the agreement.

A typical day includes:

  • Managing and activating assigned partnership accounts for the Vancouver Titans of the Overwatch League (OWL) and the Seattle Surge of the Call of Duty League (CDL)
  • Tracking and meeting agreed upon key performance indicators for each partner program and articulating these to internal stakeholders
  • Creating and managing varied Esports marketing strategies
  • Implementing a wide range of promotional opportunities including in-market, social media activations, and activations around Titans homestands
  • Researching Esports activations in the OWL, CDL and other relevant esports events to learn how to improve our sponsorship assets
  • Executing client hospitality requests, meetings, and player meet and greets
  • Working on Nielsen reporting and analysis of data for Corporate Partnerships
  • Working with the CRM and inventory management tools such as Wrike
  • Assisting with the creation of new partnership sales proposals and help identify new opportunities for existing partners
  • Reporting back to each partner throughout season on how their activations are performing

  • 1-2 years of experience in sponsorship activation, promotions, and marketing, preferably within an advertising agency environment or professional sports team
  • A degree or diploma in business administration or marketing
  • Familiarity with all major social platforms (Twitch, Mixer, Steam, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize
  • Strong knowledge of paid social and digital marketing
  • A passion for video gaming and Esports with a focus on Overwatch
  • Experience planning and coordinating events, conferences, and/or promotions
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • A commitment to ensuring superior customer service and supporting the team
