Title of the Position:  Technical Sales Director (NOC 0601)

Type of Employment:  Permanent and Full-time (40 hours per week)

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Wage:  $36 - $40 per hour ($74,880 - $83,200 per year)

Main Job Duties:

  • Develop sales, marketing and operational strategies to support the company's development
  • Responsible for establishing, completing and closing projects
  • Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales
  • Accomplish sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, prepare an annual budget and schedule expenditures
  • Search for new clients who might benefit from company products and services
  • Lead sales team to develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Negotiate and determine contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Assign technical sales team to conduct pre-sales demonstrations and product education, and after-sales support services
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Create and present reports based on sales data at regular intervals to the General Manager
  • Recruit and train sales staff and monitor their performance

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • A master's degree in business or mechanical related program
  • 10+ years of experience in a technical sales position, preferably in mechanical and automation systems field
  • 5+ years of managing team of 5+people and directing product sales activities with measurable revenue results
  • Knowledge in adhesive application and automation system is highly desirable
  • Global key account management and MNC working experience is preferred
  • Have experience of adhesive application and automation system sales would be a plus
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills
  • Great leadership skills, ability to inspire the team to reach sales goals
  • Be technically competent with good attitude
  • Good English communication skills
  • A second language skills is a plus
