We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to continue our track record as one of Canada’s fastest-growing software companies and world leaders in our category. As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for achieving revenue targets with the outbound callers and research team. The Research team builds quality lists of prospects who are a great fit for our services. The outbound calling team phones those lists and explains the value of SiteDocs with the goal of booking a product demo for our team of Sales Executives. You will create capital efficient strategies with the VP of Sales to grow revenues. The successful candidate will listen to calls for coaching, analyze data sets and rally your team around a winning formula.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience creating strategies to target different regions and industries
  • Proven track record coaching outbound call teams - you must be a cold calling guru!
  • Ability to analyze data sets and focus your team on what achieves the best results
  • 2+ years of personal cold calling experience and 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • Relationship orientated and strong rapport building skills
  • Excellent emotional intelligence, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience creating urgency and educating on a value proposition
  • Familiar with being accountable to targets
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Software sales experience and a relevant degree/diploma is an asset
  • Experience with SalesLoft or similar is an asset
  • Be fanatical about our mission, values, and goals

  • Provide coaching to increase the effectiveness of your team members
  • Weekly analysis of lead list performance and individual results
  • Hold a daily stand-up meeting to rally your team around winning
  • Create and modify strategies to meet your departmental goals
  • Ensure all callers and research members are meeting revenue targets
  • Create and manage cadences that produce value
  • Present results to leadership on a weekly basis
