Role Description The Business Development Representative role at Content Connect is an on-site position based in Timmins, ON. In this role, the individual will prospect and qualify leads, conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and schedule and support sales presentations with potential clients. The Business Development Representative will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, prepare basic proposals, and collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop outreach campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include researching target markets, identifying decision-makers, following up on inbound inquiries, and nurturing relationships to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. This role also involves attending local networking events, gathering market feedback, and contributing ideas to improve business development processes. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in prospecting, lead qualification, and managing a sales pipeline. Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and confident presentation abilities. Foundational knowledge of sales processes, customer relationship management, and basic negotiation techniques. Comfort with using CRM tools, productivity software, and online research methods to support business development activities. Proven organizational skills, including time management, follow-through on commitments, and attention to detail in documentation. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues. Motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to changing priorities. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is an asset; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
