Earnings Potential: $150,000 - $200,000 Are you a sales leader who enjoys building relationships, developing people, and creating new opportunities? Consolidated Gypsum has been distributing building materials in Western Canada since 1977. As our Regional Sales Manager, you will lead from the front by actively supporting your team and engaging with customers across your territory. This position requires a balanced approach, combining strategic planning and team leadership with regular travel to meet customers, uncover new business opportunities, and drive profitable growth throughout the region. Operating Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM + rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and build relationships with existing accounts, in addition to agressively pursuing new business opportunities Lead, train and mentor the sales team, including inside and outside sales representatives Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceel sales targets Prepare budgets and analyze monthly performance Approve daily sales orders Approve sales quotations and templates prior to implementation Oversee and execute merchandising programs in alignment with company directives Handle customer inquiries and complaints in accordance with company policies, escalating as needed Monitor competitor pricing, discounts, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge Assist in sales forecasting and strategy development Maintain accurate and up to date customer records Prepare and submit sales reports and expense reports as required Provide recommendations for new product additions and modifications. Foster cross-departmental collaboration Participate in annual inventory count Travel within Calgary and surrounding area. REQUIREMENTS: Diploma or Degree in Business Sales or equivalent program preferred 10 years experience leading a sales team, with proven track record in field sales Experience in B2B and B2C selling Experience in leading teams and managing sales targets Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software Travel required. Requirements
Requires 10+ years of experience leading sales teams with a proven track record in field sales and B2B/B2C selling. A diploma or degree in Business Sales is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
