Location: Remote (Canada-Based) Department: Sales Reports To: Senior Director of SMB Sales Position Overview As a Canada SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through both new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts across Canada. Your primary focus will be on helping small and mid-sized businesses strengthen their operational resilience through innovative technology solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, helping organizations identify challenges, improve operational performance, and implement solutions that support their business objectives. This role requires a proactive sales professional who can effectively manage the full sales cycle while building strong relationships throughout the Canadian market. Fluency in both English and French is required, as you will support customers across multiple Canadian regions. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and engage new SMB customers throughout Canada. Generate and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, marketing-generated leads, and strategic outreach. Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business needs, and organizational goals. Present solutions and effectively communicate business value and return on investment. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution. Account Growth & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Identify expansion, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities within assigned accounts. Conduct regular customer reviews to ensure continued alignment between customer needs and available solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance and industry insights. Customer Success & Retention: Partner closely with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to ensure positive customer experiences. Support customer onboarding and adoption efforts as needed. Address customer concerns proactively and coordinate internal resources to resolve issues. Contribute to customer retention and renewal efforts by demonstrating ongoing value. Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce. Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reporting. Consistently achieve or exceed revenue, activity, and growth targets. Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive customer engagement and revenue growth. Share market feedback and customer insights to help shape future strategies and offerings. Support continued growth and market expansion initiatives throughout Canada. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of successful B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing experience within business continuity. Experience selling to both new and existing customers within Canada. Demonstrated success achieving sales goals and managing customer relationships. Experience managing full sales cycles and navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes. Skills & Abilities: Fluent in both English and French (written and verbal). Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build trust and establish long-term customer relationships. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Experience utilizing CRM platforms and modern sales technologies to manage pipeline, prospect effectively, and drive sales performance. Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Microsoft Copilot for Sales, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar sales enablement platforms preferred. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively collaborating across teams. Compensation Base Compensation $80,000 base salary + $150,000 OTE Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
