We are looking for an Account Manager, working locally within the Fort McMurray region. The Account Manager will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of ChampionX programs and services in targeted accounts within the Oil Sands Region. In addition, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships throughout your customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies. What You Will Do: Work closely with current and new customers within an assigned territory/customer base. Understand customer business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customer organizations, including plant or facility executives. Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals. Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer issues, escalating as required. Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels. Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX. Possible travel within assigned sales territory Position Details: Candidate must reside within Fort McMurray This is a Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing. This role requires the individual to be clean-shaven to comply with the customer site policy and safety requirements Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years of technical sales or field sales support experience in the same or a related industry Technical degree, college or bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or a relevant field of study. High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems) Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask Physical Demands: Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
