Job summary
Regional Sales Manager — Chef Wanted (Kitchen → Corporate) Our Client (Global Market Leader) | Territory: Laval to Val d'Or | Bilingual FR/EN Mandatory Are you a chef ready to hang up the apron — but not the passion? Our client is a global leader in intelligent commercial cooking technology. We're not looking for a salesperson who's read about kitchens. We're looking for a cook — someone who has run a line, felt the pressure of service, and wants to bring that credibility into an enterprise sales career. This is a rare chance to step out of the kitchen and into corporate — while still cooking every week, in front of the chefs you'll sell to. The Role You'll own the North territory — Laval up through the Laurentians to Val d'Or (Route 117 corridor) — driving our client's growth across the commercial restaurant and hospitality market. You'll be in the field ~4.5 days a week: visiting kitchens, building relationships, and running Live Cooking Demonstrations where you cook on our equipment and let the results speak for themselves. What you'll do: Spread our client's message through hands-on Live Cooking events (~1 demo day/week) Visit restaurant and foodservice operators daily to develop new business Partner with dealers, consultants, and designers to grow market share Run a consultative, needs-based sales process — listen, solve, close Manage your own schedule and pipeline (CRM/Salesforce) Who You Are Culinary background is mandatory — this is non-negotiable. You are a cook, chef, chef de cuisine, or kitchen operations leader with real hands-on credibility. If you can walk up to a combi oven and cook a dish that impresses another chef, you're who we want. Hands-on culinary experience — you can run a Live Cooking Demonstration, not just talk about food Ready to transition out of the kitchen into a corporate/enterprise career Energetic and positive — you bring drive and good energy into every room Bilingual (French / English) is mandatory — non-negotiable for this role Comfortable with a road-based field role and independent schedule Valid driver's license; able to travel across the territory Prior sales experience is a plus but not required — we'll teach you the sales. We can't teach you the kitchen. What's In It For You Base salary in the mid-$80Ks + $20–25K performance bonus Company vehicle A first step into enterprise sales with a global market leader The chance to keep cooking — every week — while building a corporate career
