Job Description:

We currently have a Sales Manager position open for a person who is comfortable and experienced with:

  1. new business development in the IT service sector (must have)
  2. managing an organization's social media platforms (nice to have)

The position is full time and located in downtown, Vancouver. This is a ground-floor opportunity with a young, growing company leading the way in neurodiversity. Training in autism and neurodiversity will be provided. 

Responsibilities:

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. new business development (essential)
    1. sourcing and qualifying new leads
    2. building senior level relationships within potential, new, and existing client accounts
    3. selling our services and the advantages autism brings to the workplace
    4. understanding the client's IT service requirements
    5. closing contracts
    6. monitoring client satisfaction of our services
  2. social media management (not essential)
    1. recommending social media usage and content
    2. contributing to the development of the content
    3. updating social media channels with content
    4. monitoring the effectiveness of social media channels
    5. taking corrective action as needed

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory:
    • Track record in establishing, developing, managing, and retaining clients
    • Proven business savvy
    • Proficiency with complex IT requirements and solutions
    • Knowledge and experience in the software development life cycle
    • Knowledge and experience with waterfall methodologies and agile environments
    • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Nice to have: 
    • Expertise in social media and its use as a marketing and sales tool
    • Technical expertise in keeping various social media channels up-to-date and ensuring their effectiveness
